In order for humans to have the optimal health they must be well first. A human's health is a state of body, however their wellness is a state of being, where they live a healthy lifestyle. There are many dimensions of wellness in a human's life, which they need to adjust in order to be healthy. To be able to reach an optimal health a human must first be able to balance all the dimensions of wellness. For example the emotional dimension of wellness can be optimized for good health when someone can understand their feelings, express them to someone they can trust and ultimately maintain a positive outlook throughout their life. Furthermore, the environmental dimension of wellness is optimized for good health when someone can find surroundings that encourage good physical and mental health, while also having a sense of safety. Finally the financial dimension of wellness plays a massive role in optimizing health, as it allows someone to understand how to manage their finances and grow good financial habits in order to never be put in a situation where they feel as if their lack of money is affecting their mental or physical health and academic performances.
