Midterm Study Guide
You should review all lecture slides, homeworks (project and written), and the quiz. For
your review of the textbook chapters we have read so far, I suggest you pay particular
attention to the following sections:
Chapter 1
Sections 1.1 – 1.13
Chapter 3
Sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 (you don’t have to know the specific formulas but thc general
approaches) excluding the machine learning methods, 3.4 – 3.6
Chapter 4
Sections 4.1 – 4.11
Chapter 5
Sections 5.1- 5.5, 5.6 except fault tree analysis, 5.7 except measuring design quality
Chapter 6
Sections 6.1 – 6.6
