  • (^) is the main tissue component of the nervous system.
  • (^) The nervous system regulates and controls bodily functions and activity and consists of two parts: the central nervous system (CNS) comprising the brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system (PNS) comprising the branching peripheral nerves.
  • (^) Nervous tissue is distributed throughout the body as an integrated communications network.
  • (^) The nervous system is a highly complex part of an animal that coordinates its actions and sensory information by transmitting signals to and from different parts of its body.
  • (^) The peripheral nervous system ( PNS ) is one of two components that make up the nervous system of bilateral animals, with the other part being the central nervous system (CNS )

Neuron Is the basic unit of the central nervous system.

  • (^) It consist of cell body, dendrites and axon.
  • (^) Cell body contain nucleus and various organelles.
  • (^) Dendrites also called Afferent Processes, It carry impulse towards the cell body.
