Answer: One example that I used in the Integrity matters quiz to avoid plagiarism is Paraphrasing. By paraphrasing the content, you want to include in your assignment or post, you are practicing your paraphrasing skills. Often, you'll hear the term wordsmithing. If you copy someone else's content and make small changes to it, such as omitting words or swapping synonyms, it is called editing. Academic Integrity Question #2: Other than not sharing passwords, what is one way students can avoid plagiarism that was mentioned in the Integrity Matters Module? Answer: Another way that students can avoid plagiarism that was mentioned in the Integrity matters module is to use another students work such as written assignments, lab assignments, and homework to name a few. Self-Evaluation: Challenges (see Rubric) What are your greatest challenges with time management? Answer: The greatest challenge I face with time management is prioritization. Figuring out how and where to prioritize tasks can be challenging. For example: When arriving to work, I have multiple tasks to do in the morning and struggle sometimes to know where to start - depending on the day. Self-Evaluation: Strategies (see Rubric) What effective strategies will you use to overcome these challenges? Answer: Effective planning and prioritizing skills, to determine which tasks are more important and what can be done later vs what needs to be completed immediately. ( i.e. looking at my schedule for the day vs calling hospital discharges from the prior day) Time Management Plan Template.docx 7/19/
