the enhancements of every student's academic

performance, mental alertness, readiness, and

enthusiasm for learning.

The International Charter of Physical Education and Sport

UNESCO (United Nations Educations, Scientific and

Cultural Organization) states that the practice of physical

education and sports is a basic right for

all. The right to improve people's physical, intellectual and

moral prowess through physical education and sport must

be ensured within the educational system and in other

aspects of social life. To do this, a legal framework is drafted

relative to the inclusion of physical education within the

school curricula.
