(a) Cloud Computing has been described as a pardigm shift in how IT is delivered to organisations, moving away from the distributed enterprise architectural model to a more service oriented one. There are a number of concepts, types and models of cloud computing. Give a detailed explanation of the following terms with an example to illustrate your understanding of them;

(b) Enterprise Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) have between them led to the development of Cloud Computing Architecture. Enterprise Architectures models such as TOGAF, Zachman and DoDAF have been the frameworks that have contrived to the alignment of what “The Business is looking from IT”.
The Open Group framework known as the TOGAF model is an Enterprise Architecture methodology framework which includes the following areas Business Architecture, Information Architecture, Application Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture.
Explain the TOGAF model with the aid of a diagram showing how each layer contributes to the delivery of IT in the organisation.

(a) Amazon EC2 and Google are two models that are influencing the movement of IT Services to a Cloud based architecture. These cloud architectural models involve the provision of services in infrastructure, platform, software, web and management. Choosing either Amazon or Googles architecture give a detailed description with the aid of a diagram of its design, functionality, services benefits and challenges their architecture will provide to an organisation.

(b) EMC and Amazon are significant vendors in the delivery of Storage as a Service. Describe storage as a service, its architecture and give examples from Case Studies that you have studied.

(b) Cloud Web Services enable applications and services to be delivered online to developers and end users. REST and SOAP can be by clients access these services. Explain the functionality of REST and SOAP with regards to their relationship with Cloud Computing Architecture.
