50-Word Summary
Students work with a Power Point that contains a link to
a YouTube video (in English), which briefly describes
how Russians celebrate Orthodox Easter, a second
video (in Russian) to learn more about this holiday,
vocabulary and questions to check their knowledge of
this video, pictures and an essay-writing activity.
Objective
To learn about traditions related to Russian Orthodox
Easter, vocabulary used with this holiday and be able to
test their knowledge of the material covered. The
vocabulary that the activity focuses on is the following:
