1. In the article Lance Bryant promotes the idea of being plus size as a woman as the first
apparel devoted to plus size women only. This only change the demographic of women being
pore less, cheekbone, hipless to being plus size. This increases the self-esteem of plus size
women across the state and making plus size the beauty standard. This can be done by changing
the consumer trend or idea of a woman.
2. People are start view plus size women as the new beauty standard. This is happening as a
result of heavy promotion. The market for plus size women is emerging rapidly and leaving the
old trend of women being pore less . cheekbone and hipless. They are being advertised with
brands such as Calvin Klein and Louis Vuitton. They are being advertised on billboard and on
posters and made the symbol of beauty.
3. This can be done by going to the normal trend of being thin. This can be done by heavy
promotion this includes advertising on magazines and billboards . They can be used by popular
clothing brand such as Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein to reshape people view of women and
making it a beauty standard . I think they should make a balance on how the media and society
view women in the terms of beauty standards . They should also promote health problem
