Lesson 4: The students will have a reading activity using the story “The First Thanksgiving.” They will be using the Insert Learning Activity. An essay will be required to sum up their learning. Lesson 5: The students will be comparing the mode of transportation

before and now. A video clip will be shown about transportation then and now. They will be grouped into 6 and will be given a Venn diagram worksheet to accomplish. Culminating Lesson: In this culminating activity, the students will explore some stories that are part of their family customs and traditions. They will be asked to investigate one family tradition or custom that they have been celebrating and evaluate how this changed over a period of time. They can do an interview of older members of their family to provide a primary source for this activity. The final product could be a poster or a Powerpoint presentation of the results of the interview.
