mean travel time?

ASSIGNMENT TWO:

Question 1:

GPRTU conducted several tests to determine whether there was a difference in the mean travel times along four routes to Accra from Kumasi. Because there will be many different drivers, the test was set up, so each driver drove along each of the four routes. The table below shows the travel time, in minutes, for each driver-route combination.

Travel Time from Kumasi to Accra Driver Route I Route II Route III Route IV Route V Isaac^9 11 9 16 Mensah 12 9 10 10 11 Chris 12 18 16 13 12 Serebour^18 19 15 11 Tettey 14 15 13 19 10 Obed 20 17 14 8 12

At the 0.01 , 0.025 , and 0.05 significance level,

i. is there a difference in the mean travel time along the five routes?

ii. if we remove the effect of the drivers, is there a difference in the mean travel time?
