QUESTION

Teaching can be characterized as commitment with students to empower their comprehension and use of information, ideas and cycles. It incorporates section, content determination, conveyance, assessments and reflections. Working in an innovative learning environment means that teaching and learning is collaborative, reflections and inquiries are shared, and communities engaged leads to a more robust, continuously improving community of practice. According to Brookfield (1990) in Hege (2004), defines a teaching philosophy statement as “a personal vision of teaching; a critical rationale of teaching, sense of purposes of teaching”. This essay will discuss how progressivist teaching approach shape my teaching as an ideal teacher who create innovative learning environment for my learners.Secondly, looking at how my roles of being a teacher influenced how I create learning environment for my learners in the 4IR world. Thirdly, explore how I use my teaching strategies and methods as an ideal teacher to accommodate everyone in the classroom and lastly, how I create learning environment and teaching accessible to everyone regardless of the learner’s indifferences. TEACHING PHILOSOPHY THAT SHAPED MY TEACHING AS AN IDEAL TEACHER My teaching philosophy is based on the progressivist approach that focuses on student-centered approach which focuses on the student’s curiosity of learning which allows me as an ideal teacher to focus on developing the child rather than focusing on the content. Not taking my learners as the passive of knowledge but rather as knowledge is constructed by them and the learning is never measured by outcomes. As an ideal teacher my responsibility is to guide and direct them in their learning and allow them to work with their peers to help each other. As an ideal teacher I should allow human, social constructivist orientation to learning. According to Vygotsky (1987) suggest that human development results from a dynamic interaction between individual and society through this interaction learn gradually and continuous from parent and teachers. And that social interaction plays a crucial role in children’s learning .In Vygotsky’s theory, he talks of developing learners from their zone of proximal development ,which means that I should shape my teaching in a way that I should allow students to be part of their learning while I allow them to grow on their own cognitively .This means that my teaching should allow learning and develop learners through learning interaction with their peers .Also allow me an

performance are beneficial for learning. Which means that those motivational beliefs are effort and persistence towards learners brings high self-efficacy to their learning. As an ideal teacher I should promote the principle that students can fail and learn from their mistakes create innovative space for them to learn. praise learners when they do good to improve academics and behavioral performance. My belief is that learners in my classroom can learn and acknowledges technology throughout lessons and allowing learners to engage themselves with technology as we have moved into the 21st^ century where 4IR is taking over. My classroom will also support cognitive and developmental skills. Winn, (2020) stated that technical equipment can be great held for structuring learning environments. Which means as an ideal teacher I should create lessons and improve learning environments that promote 4IR learning and innovates learning for the demands of the 21 century. CREATING TEACHING STRATEGIES AND METHODS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF EVERYONE I characterize my students as a gathering of individuals who offer qualities and convictions and who effectively participate in gaining from each other (Machado, 2017). My students gain from me, I gain from the students and students gain from other students. This is significant on the grounds that as an ideal teacher to gain more from students also, for example, motivation and other scholastic things, and not just students gaining from me as a teacher because I don’t view them as empty vessels but we learn from one another. I will at that point arrive at the diverse students in my classroom by giving out great directions since great guidance is acceptable paying little mind to understudies' racial, ethnic or financial foundations. Clear guidelines permit all students to comprehend and have the option to assess themselves in a positive way. I must create and develop descriptive curriculum which cater the needs of everyone in the classroom. According to Lawrence Stenhouse (2012), curriculum should be descriptive rather than prescriptive and ongoing change. This means that as an ideal teacher, I should able to change and create a curriculum that can shape the mind of a learner to learn and understand the content better. Change the curriculum to make the learning meaningful for everyone and that it should cater for the needs of everyone in the classroom. And make sure that it does not favor the middle class but also cater for the learners who are coming from disadvantageous school by making it

authentic to everyone looking at their differences. Teaching strategies that would promote constructivist to take place in my classroom are discussions, brainstorming, debates, question and answers, case study, videos, role plays and workshop. By using these teaching strategies in my English class, I promote the principle of activity -based learning that students are able to engage in the construction of learning content(knowledge, skills, values and attitude on their own and this is part of promoting the discovery learning where learners work with what they know to discover the knowledge they don’t know. For instance ,if I am doing poem, short stories or novels, this teaching strategies could work well when they are able to discuss in class about previous chapters we had learn and debate on some other controversial issues .Assessment is crucial in each and every content I teach them weather formative or summative because formative assessment is very important because it serves as the guideline for me as an ideal teacher to know and understand how many student have the prior knowledge on that content and how they grasp something on that content and if there is a need for re-teaching the content based on assessment I gave them to check how far they understood that content. And feedback is should be given in an innovative learning space because it enables students to know and understand their strengths and weaknesses and how far they improve next time as learners. CREATING INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR EVERYONE As an ideal teacher creating an environment which is conducive enough that everyone can learn. Create a classroom that allows for movement. I mean a classroom with space to move around and for group work as well. When there is space for moving around learners feel welcomed, this prevent from them not scared and frustrated which makes them to be bored during lessons. My classroom will allow groupings (collaboration) because this is one aspect that is encouraged by Ubuntu where working together vital, therefore collaboration spaces are very crucial. I am going to create a classroom that supports social interaction and development. This is very important because learning is not all about what is scripted down and memorization, but it is also about sharing life experiences and learning from them. As an ideal teacher fostering inclusion is to be flexible and adapt enough in teaching and learning by doing so it means that I must adapt different teaching methods or strategies to meet the meets the needs of all learners in the classroom. Since I have to teach the diverse leaners with different learning needs so if one
