The relationship between the Marketing department and the sales department
is:
-Makerting department will give sales depatments solutions and strategies to
achieve many different goals in the development orientation of the business
(sales, market share, ...)
-Besides, the marketing team also needs to promote the business image to
attract more potential customers. Thereby helping the sales team have work
to do
-In particular, all marketing efforts of the marketing team will be zero if the
customer is not convinced by the sales team. Therefore, the dedicated advice
of the sales team will play an important role in spending money on
customers' purchases.
The conflict between the Marketing department and the sales department
will see as 4 aspesct bellow:
- Starting point:
The starting point of marketing is to research and learn to be able to
meet the necessary needs of the market through taking marketing as a
premise to promote business activities of enterprises.
The starting point of sales is very simple, it is the factory or rather the
place where the product is supplied.
- The focus:
Marketing focuses on promoting products and brands as well as
understanding the needs of customers to build effective strategies. Along
with that is building relationships with each group of customers.
Sales focuses on making as many sales as possible, so the goal is often
shorter-term than marketing.
