What is It Microsoft Windows 10 is the latest Operating system introduced by Microsoft to the market which supports new application software. It contains many features that help users like geography, accounting, and others. In using the OS to a generic desktop computer, you must consider the hardware specification requirement before installing it or else the installation will fail. The OS requirement is written on the cover of the installation disc or seen in the manual. For a new laptop, they are automatically designed for the said OS. Let us find the system requirements below. Microsoft Windows 10 Component Specification CPU 1 GHz or faster Memory 1 GB of RAM or higher Hard drive 16 GB available hard disk drive Graphics DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver Network Internet Access Exceeding the recommended hardware requirements will improve the performance of the computer. In installing OS, you can use a bootable Windows installation DVD or flash drive. Technicians always do clean installation of OS which removes all the content of the hard drive. It is also known as a fresh installation. However, you can upgrade the existing OS by choosing the Upgrade during the installation process.
