3. The brain of the computer is called the CPU which is the initials for the Central Processing Unit
situated in the motherboard.
4. Cache memory is one of the fastest memory where all the recent instructions or applications are
stored so that it can be accessed quickly and it is important because it improves the efficiency of
data retrieval which saves time.
5. The Motherboard of a computer allows the brain of computer to communicate with other parts
of the computer because if it goes bad or damaged, the computer won’t work.
6. The difference between memory and hard-drive is that memory is referring to RAM inside the
computer which stores data temporarily while hard-drives is a permanent storage device and
holds several gigabytes of data.
7. Similarity of RAM, ROM, Hard-drives
They all store data
Differences
RAM: is the random access memory and is the system short term memory.
ROM: is Read Only Memory which is a permanent storage but cannot make changes to data
electronically.
Hard-drives: is a permanent storage but data can be changed or deleted.

9. The two companies that are famous manufacturer of computer processors are Intel and AMD.
