Supplier
PBS (Product Breakdown Structure)
Arch/CIV
Drawing
- Definition of PBS using standard codes in PDC (Product
Decomposition Code - if the equipment to be coded is not in PDC
this will be updated)
GBS (Geographical Breakdown Structure)
- Data collection from Project Management Units, Civil drawing
will be analyzed and location will be harmonized, and
discrepancies will be amended.
- GBS will be implemented in data collection template
LBS (Logistical Breakdown Structure – Assets)
- Using the information coming from the project management
units in terms of configuration, PBS codes and GBS codes
(installation locations) the Assets code will be generated as
instances of PBS elements in the installation location identified by
a GBS code and arranged in a tree structure representing the
relationship between assets.
- The PBS of a specific equipment is a “model” of typical
installation of that equipment.
- Not all the elements reported in the PBS will become an asset,
only the component with certain characteristic will be instantiated
as asset (component with serial number etc.)
Spare parts definition and harmonization
- As soon as the PBS is frozen will be used to perform the RAM
analysis, one of the result of RAM analysis will be the definition of
spare parts
- This spare parts list shall be harmonizes with the spare parts list
coming from the supplier.
- The PBS will be amended accordingly, every missing spare part
code shall be updated in PBS and properly flagged, as well the
spare part reported in the O&M manual shall be aligned.
AMDB Configuration
CMA and PMA definition (Corrective and Preventive Maintenance)
AMDB Loading
- Corrective and preventive procedure will be defined in data
collection template and will be linked at the level of PBS.
- All the information in the data collection template will be loaded
in AMDB used features embedded in the front end of the data
base.
- The procedure will be extracted by the O&M manual,
automatically from the system manuals and manually for the
others.
- Each procedure will be linked with the proper trigger coming
from the field in terms of I/O list Class.
- All the information in the PDC will be loaded in data base
- During the loading operation the data will be validated
considering syntax and consistency with the DB structure
