POETRY

Poetry is a type of literature, or artistic writing, that attempts to stir a reader's imagination or emotions. The poet does this by carefully choosing and arranging language for its meaning , sound, and rhythm. Some poems , such as nursery rhymes, are simple and humorous.

LIMERICK

A Limerick poem is a form of poetry that includes five-lines with distinct rhythm and rhyme patterns (A-A-B-B-A).

NARRATIVE POEM

A Narrative poem tells a story or describes an event.

It has characters, a setting, and a plot.

It is told in order from beginning to end just like a narrative/fiction story.
