This exercises is focused on refining the typesetting of your research proposal. (a) Prepare a title page containing key information (e.g., title, author with affiliation, date). ( 2.5 pts ) (b) Prepare a footnote (separated from the main text body with a 1.5-inch line) containing author information. ( 2.5 pts ) (c) Set and apply an indentation style such that the first is 0.2 inches and the second is 0.4 inches, and so on. ( 2.5 pts ) (d) Add page and line numbers to your document. ( 2.5 pts ) (e) Select and use consistently a style for your headings and sub-headings. ( 2.5 pts ) (f) Include a table and an equation relevant to your research proposal in proper formats. Make sure you use the true “minus” sign instead of a hyphen wherever appropriate. ( 5 pts ) (g) Determine and apply consistently an appropriate format for your references. Make sure to use the en dash in page numbering. If a specific journal reference guide requires the abbreviations (of journal names and other publisher information, do so and be assured that learning proper abbreviations is fun, challenging, and beneficial ( 7.5 pts )
