Task Some countries are currently developing nuclear weapons and this is a grave threat to global peace. Nuclear technology is clean and environmentally friendly, but it is undeniable. So many believe that nuclear technology has more positive aspects than negative ones. To a certain extent, I totally disagree with this view. In the following essay, I will discuss them in detail to support my opinion. To begin with, while nuclear power plants are environmentally safe and cost-effective, many still believe that they are a serious threat to the surrounding areas. Some nations have been careful in managing their nuclear power plants, but sometimes unexpected events occur and have serious repercussions on their surroundings. As you know, it is undeniable that Japan's well-known advanced, efficient, and modern nuclear technology. However, one of the country's electricity plants was hit by a tsunami in 2010, resulting in plant leakage and many victims were found. Additionally, the outcome of political insecurity around the world is one of the most serious effects of using nuclear power. Nearly nations have detailed themselves by building and strengthening a strong nuclear system to protect their peace and to demonstrate military power. To illustrate, during the Third World War the consequences were unmeasurable and insurmountable, such as loss of property and environmental protection. To sum up, I think nuclear weapons are more demerits than advantages, and some nuclear power consequences have been difficult to resolve.
