12. Let us learn some vocabulary. Pay attention to the sentence from the text “ Sales of the album quickly took off .” Here the phrasal verb TAKE OFF means “to suddenly increase in value or amount”. Some phrasal verbs have different meanings and you’ll have to deduce from context which one is being used. Complete the sentences with the correct form of the phrasal verbs in the box. One **phrasal verb is used twice with different meanings. Use a dictionary to check the meaning of the phrasal verbs in sentences 1-6. Provide a synonym or definition to explain each case.
