Activity 2.1: A Trip to Remember
Write a 3-paragraph story about a memorable vacation, real or fiction. Include as much detail
as possible about the places, the visits, dates, weather and all the things you can describe to
make the reading realistic. Don’t forget to use past tenses (past simple, past continuous), time
sequencers, connectors and time expressions.
Introduction:
A memorable vacation for me, could be when I went to the beach on my mom´s birthday, we
went to Oaxaca and we spent there 1 week, we visited some beaches and found some places
where we can eat.
Then we arrived at my aunt´s house, there we slept and ate a few days.
Climax:
We decided to travel to the beach, because the last time that we went to one, was when I was
7-8 years, we knew like 5 beaches, their names was Zipolite, Ventanilla, Mazunte and
Estacahuite.
Every afternoon, we went to La Presa, because this place is every near to the house that we
were standing.
Conclusion:
For the last day, we went to Chacahua beach, because I didn’t know it, and because I like it a lot
we didn’t came back that day, we spent one more day and we went to Puerto Escondido to say
goodbye to the sea, and we came back to go to the city for the school and the work.
