Some verbs can be used as adjectives in the past participle form (-ed) and in
the present participle form (-ing).
These signs are confusing!
We are confused.
REMEMBER that:
the feeling produced is described with the -ed ending,
the person or thing producing the feeling is described with the –ing ending.
1. Form –ed and –ing adjectives from these verbs:
excite worry surprise bore amaze exhaust
annoy terrify scare depress interest exasperate
satisfy amuse embarrass disappoint tire reward
