economy, whether the person has artificial intelligence, is it possible to teach AI ethics, and
also about the future of neural networks.
The economic effect and impact on the labor market
Science fiction and Hollywood have shaped the idea of "artificial intelligence" as the next
form of life on the planet, which will enslave humanity in the Matrix or organize a nuclear
Doomsday. The survivors will finish off the Terminator.
In fact, despite the latest achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, before the advent
of intelligent machine-making is still far away, scientists and experts recognize. And those
and others, however, advise to pay attention to some aspects now.
According to the research organization McKinsey Global Institute, in the next ten years, new
technologies will radically change the labor market on the planet, which will save about 50
trillion dollars.
Changes will affect hundreds of millions of jobs. People will more and more shift part of
their work assignments and many routine tasks onto the machine, which will allow them to
focus on creative work.
"From a certain point of view, humanity as a whole has an important and interesting task - to
develop to each specific individual much faster than humanity develops artificial intelligence
systems," said Grigory Bakunov, expert, director for the distribution of Yandex technologies.
But along with automation, less qualified personnel will inevitably suffer, and now we need
to think about how to protect them, retrain them and prepare them for a new life.
As practice shows, not only blue collars, but also knowledge workers, can suffer. A few days
ago, Goldman Sachs replaced a team of 600 traders for two people and automated
algorithmic trading programs for which 200 software developers were hired.
Artificial intelligence in itself is not identical to the automation of processes, but the
development of AI will lead to the fact that more and more tasks will be within the power of
a computer program.
Among the solutions to the problem of human crowding out on the labor market, as Allison
Dutman points out, the coordinator of the programs of the Foresight Institute, a non-profit
organization based in Silicon Valley to promote new technologies, is the introduction of the

The economic effect and impact on the labor market

Science fiction and Hollywood have shaped the idea of "artificial intelligence" as the next form of life on the planet, which will enslave humanity in the Matrix or organize a nuclear Doomsday. The survivors will finish off the Terminator.

In fact, despite the latest achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, before the advent of intelligent machine-making is still far away, scientists and experts recognize. And those and others, however, advise to pay attention to some aspects now.

According to the research organization McKinsey Global Institute, in the next ten years, new technologies will radically change the labor market on the planet, which will save about 50 trillion dollars.

Changes will affect hundreds of millions of jobs. People will more and more shift part of their work assignments and many routine tasks onto the machine, which will allow them to focus on creative work.

"From a certain point of view, humanity as a whole has an important and interesting task - to develop to each specific individual much faster than humanity develops artificial intelligence systems," said Grigory Bakunov, expert, director for the distribution of Yandex technologies.

But along with automation, less qualified personnel will inevitably suffer, and now we need to think about how to protect them, retrain them and prepare them for a new life.

As practice shows, not only blue collars, but also knowledge workers, can suffer. A few days ago, Goldman Sachs replaced a team of 600 traders for two people and automated algorithmic trading programs for which 200 software developers were hired.

Artificial intelligence in itself is not identical to the automation of processes, but the development of AI will lead to the fact that more and more tasks will be within the power of a computer program.

Among the solutions to the problem of human crowding out on the labor market, as Allison Dutman points out, the coordinator of the programs of the Foresight Institute, a non-profit organization based in Silicon Valley to promote new technologies, is the introduction of the concept of "universal basic income" that every resident regardless of income and employment. Such an income would be financed by the so-called innovation tax Land Value Tax, the introduction of which is now being actively discussed in Silicon Valley.

Is personality artificial intelligence?

Is the robotic system a person? Can a smart computer vote? What is he sex? Relations of the person and the intelligent machine are already being discussed by deputies of the European

Parliament, wondering if the future robot should be given the status of an "electronic person."

As Dutman points out, people reluctantly share their rights with those who are incomprehensible to them, which means they will resist the "humanization" of AI.

"Considering how long humanity has been going to endow with equal rights for all people, regardless of the color of their skin, race or gender, we can already assume that they don’t recognize the machines as equal.

Legal subtleties also appear together with ethical ones: who will take responsibility in the event of an accident of an unmanned vehicle or a breakdown of a smart medical device — and moral questions: is it worth developing an unmanned weapon capable of acting without the knowledge of a person?

The third ethical puzzle is discussed more often than others and excites humanity much more: what theoretically superintelligence, a real smart machine, can theoretically do with humanity?

Teach AI ethics

Experts in the field of development of AI recognize: if not in the next 20-30 years, but humanity will nevertheless live to see the emergence of real artificial intelligence, which will be smarter than its creator.

“The last bastion will be taken when the so-called“ strong AI ”(Strong AI, Artificial General Intelligence) is created, that is, an AI that will be able to solve an indefinitely wide range of intellectual tasks,” says Sergey Markov.

And most importantly, such an AI can think independently.

Many institutes, including the Future of Life Institute, the Foresight Institute, the Future of Humanity Institute, OpenAI and others, are studying the threats posed by AI, as well as the ethical problems associated with new technologies.

The decision of Allison Dutman from the Foresight Institute is to let the computer read all the scientific literature, scientific articles that raise the issue of ethics, and make this information a basis for its future decisions.

What are Neural networks and what is their future?

Most experts associate the progress in the development of AI with the development of neural networks.

Neural networks are one of the areas of research in the field of artificial intelligence, based on the modeling of biological processes that occur in the human brain.

It is to them that we owe the appearance of impressive results in speech recognition and images, making medical diagnoses, translating text and creating images, generating speech and musical composition.
