Once upon a time there was a maiden who lived with her three brothers on the outskirts of the kingdom, her dream was to become the wife of one of the kings of a castle and have abundant wealth. One sunny day while she was bringing lemonade to her brothers, a carriage arrived at her home giving the official announcement that King Bluebeard was in search of a woman to marry him. Without a second thought the woman went with the coachman and a few days later they were married. What the new queen did not know was that the king had a dark past and she was not his first wife, behind the doors of the castle hid a creepy subway cemetery. One day while touring the castle she observed and caused great curiosity a door that unlike the others was hidden behind the shadows of a long staircase. As time went by, the queen became more and more ambitious, abusing her power in front of the servants of the kingdom. The king, realizing this, decided to make a trip to test her trust and loyalty to him. Before leaving Bluebeard gave his wife a set of keys where each one opened a different door in the castle, but the last one he gave her had a big difference, because it was made of gold and when he gave it to her he warned her not to use it because it was the one that opened the forbidden door. Once the king left, the queen, curious to see what was behind each of the doors, opened them and found gold, jewels, dresses and sculptures. But this was not enough for her; since her intrigue was greater and not being satisfied with what she had already seen, she decided to go to the beginning of the stairs that led to the forbidden door, there the queen confronting her ambition made the decision to open this door regardless of what she could find there. When the queen opened the door she found a horrifying scene, since what was hidden behind this door were each one of the corpses of the former wives of Bluebeard, when she reacted to what her eyes saw, the key fell from her hands and stained with blood, when she tried to clean it, it stained again by itself. The queen left the room frightened and found a way to prevent the key from getting blood on it again so that the king would not notice and she would have the same end as the other wives. However, before the king arrived at the castle, she planned to poison him in order to keep all the wealth. A week later, she carried out her plan and was left as "the poor widow" without knowing that the castle had an evil spell, leaving her in total ruin without being able to enjoy what she believed she had earned and stealing her beautiful youth, dying alone and in poverty.
