Dear Katty
I hope you are feeling very well, I found out that you are a procrastinator, for a friend we
have in common and I have to give you some advice that can help you. Here are some tips to avoid
procrastination.
The most important get organized, you are more likely to procrastinate if you don’t have a
set plan or idea for completing your work, the first thing you should do is start keeping track of all
your assignments and their due dates and investing in a planner is a good idea
The second advice I recommend you are eliminating distractions. By limiting the number
of distractions around you, you're more likely to get done what you need to do, also hut your
phone off, retreat to a quiet place and listen to classical music or white noise to drown out any
noise.
Another advice is set goals, It’s a lot easier to get started on a project when you establish
simple, reachable goals and you will avoid procrastination taking a 10- to 15-minute break for
example listen to music, take a walk or anything that takes your mind off of your work and allows
you to relax.
And the last reward yourself, rewarding yourself may create an incentive to complete a
task and help avoid procrastination and holding yourself accountable for completing your
assignments on time.
Take care Katty, the best regards.
