DESCRIBING A BAR CHART

 Describe this bar chart

“Duration of cell phone use while driving expressed as percentage per driver's age” (Minimum extension: 100-150 words).

In the bar chart that we have below we can see how there elements are related: duration of call phone use while driving expressed as percentage per driver´s age.

In the left part of this bar chart we can see quantities expressed in percentages; from 10 to 10 (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70). And in the right part we see the duration of using phone while driving expressed in minutes; from two to two (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-9,10 + minutes). Finally, we have a glossary with the different colours and ages (18-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41 + years).

The first telephone use range shows us how the youngest (18-20 years) and the oldest (more than 40 years) are those who use the telephone for less time.

In the second and third range, for 3-6 minutes phone calls, we find people under 41 years old.

In the fourth range, we don´t see people over 41 years, but specially we find people 31-40 years old.

Finally, the people that use cell telephone more than 10 minutes are 21-30 years and especially the age range over 41 years.
