I am writing in response to the job advertisement I saw on the local newspaper for a
teaching assistant’s position in the local secondary school’s English department. I
believe that four years babysitting have given me the skills to know how to deal with
younger students. Moreover, my English knowledge and devotion for the language
are keen to help the students grow.
As you can see from my attached CV, I have years of experience babysitting but also
experience volunteering at a summer camp with kids for two summers. Great
enthusiasm and energy are qualities that I have gained and that would be beneficial
for this position. In addition, my ability to learn fast and patience I believe are crucial
for teaching.
My passion for kids makes me engage with them and create a special bond that is
later reflected on their knowledge with a positive outcome. Therefore, it becomes
easier for the younger students to gain the English skills that I provide.
