The verb to be has 2 uses: 1) to talk about ‘ser’ e.g. I am a teacher and you are a student, and 2) to talk about ‘estar’ e.g. I am in Bosa and you are in Timiza. The verb to be has 3 forms: am/are/ is. It changes according to the person/pronoun: I/you/we/they/he/she/ it.
