The concept of the American lifestyle in the United States is totally different from
other countries, since key points are reflected here that give a unique concept of
how life is in this country. So, we must be clear that this way of living is not except
for ups and downs, as reflected in the film.
We will begin to describe that people are not dependent on their partners, much
less their parents' children, only until they reach a certain age, and if they are still
studying, they look for work to fill their free time, so that they can earn money and
cover their own expenses. In their free time they do activities that fill the gap of
boredom and among this is reading, mowing the lawn, recording, chatting and
watering their garden, an activity that is quite common in American mothers. It is a
custom among the family to have dinner together, at a certain time, and to chat
during the dinner, exposing their good day at school and at work, except for their
problems during their attendance, they present different dishes that enrich the
dining room and have in the background a music that can be participated in the
dinner and the members of the house. Among the favorite drinks during meals,
they choose wine for dinner, natural juices for breakfast and a beer to accompany
their snacks or to have a good time. They are persevering people and the moment
they feel they cannot continue to fight with that same obstacle, they immediately
form an escape plan, and by this I mean the fact that they are looking for another
way to reach their goal.
But, just as it has its advantages, we also find the opposite of this and here is the
reason why the American lifestyle is not above other countries with different
lifestyles. It is very common to find here, family dysfunction because most parents
assume their role only until a certain age, leaving the children to grow and learn on
their own and then this, when they are teenagers they are seriously affected by the
lack of teaching and affection they stopped receiving long ago, and here lies the
bad communication between parent and child, the wrong way of giving and
receiving love and with it, other derivatives. The lack of self-esteem, which is a
