What would you have done in these situations? Compare your ideas.
1. A friend from Australia stayed with me for a month.
After she left, I got a $500 phone bill, and all the
international calls were to Australia! My friend said
she didn’t make the calls, so I paid the bill.
2. My cousin plans to marry his girlfriend, but I really
don’t like her. My cousin asked me for my opinion
about the marriage. I lied and said I was very happy
about it.
3. A friend said something that I didn’t agree with. I told
her she was wrong. She was very angry, and now
she isn’t talking to me.
4. I forgot about my best friend’s birthday party.
I didn’t call him to apologize, though. I was too
embarrassed.
