FORMAL EMAIL
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction at the disgraceful treatment I received
at the Police Station yesterday morning.
Firstly, I went to the Police Station with the purpose of giving back a wallet I had found
at the street. But, to my surprise, I had to wait about two hours for it to be attended.
Furthermore, after having waited, I was accused of having stolen the wallet since a
complaint had been made. To make matters worse, I was deeply offended by the
behaviour of the policeman who took my statement, he was so rude to me.
Fortunately, the owner of the wallet could come and denied that it was me.
As you can imagine, I am extremely upset, I must insist on a written apology from your
part, or else I shall be forced to take further action.
I look forward to your swift reply.
Yours faithfully,
Marta Juan.
