May, might and could are modal verbs the verb that goes after them goes in
simple form it doesn’t matter if we have a singular noun or the third person as
subject, for example:
I may go to the party.
She might come early.
They could arrive tomorrow morning.
MAY
We use may to express a possibility and also we use may when we ask
permission. May is more certain to happen.
I may go to the party, but I didn’t decide yet.
MIGHT
We use might the same way we use may but the difference is that might is less
certain to happen it means that the possibility is less.
He might go with us, but he is fixing the car
