HOW TO AVOID CAR PROBLEMS?
1.- The Tyres are Flat
Flattened areas as a result of a brake blockage cause a loss of rubber in the blockage area.
There is no component that can prevent heavy wear due to extreme braking conditions.
Best practice is to rotate the tires when you change your engine oil or every 5,000 miles.
The pressure should also be checked, as inadequate pressure, whether higher or lower,
causes the wheels to overheat, reducing their grip and wearing them down. This causes a
less fluid ride and uneven braking.
We should avoid braking and overpressing. When there is a sudden stop, the wheels
immediately lock up, so that they slide on the road, wearing down the tire. If we add to
this a large load of weight in the trunk, wear and tear multiplies, in addition to increasing
fuel consumption.
Finally, keeping a tire in good condition helps maintain the safety of vehicle occupants,
since having tires in good condition can give you better control of the vehicle in the event
of an emergency situation.
2.- The Steering Wheel is Shaking
One of the reasons for the steering wheel to shake is to leave the car without moving for
a long time, to avoid this, the pressure of the tires must be increased, in this way they will
not deform permanently. 3.2 bar is usually sufficient, but it can vary for each car. This
problem can also occur due to suspension components or wheel bearings, and If the wheel
shakes at higher speeds it is more often an issue with tire / wheel balance. So, it’s
recommended immediately to take the car for a mechanical inspection.
3.- The Radiator is Leaking
The best way to stop a radiator leak is by using sealants for the cooling system, its very
important to take the proper measures to seal the cooling system immediately. Even for
the smallest leaks as regular inspection and professional coolant replacement is essential.
In this way, a good operation of the engine cooling is guaranteed.
4.- The Car is Consuming Too Much Oil
Oil is essential for the engine to function properly, so there are several reasons why it can
produce a higher consumption than normal, but the most frequent is that the engine has
some type of deficiency in its operation. The use of a good oil will allow to extend the
useful life of the engine and the correct operation of the car, it is very important to
guarantee the best oil for the car, since it allows the cleaning of the engine that is generated
by combustion, it also cools the parts If the oil is burning in the combustion chamber, the
consumption is higher, and consequently the pistons, rings or cylinders experience greater
wear than usual.
