TEACHER’S NOTES
In this Have you ever Find Someone Who activity, students ask
and answer present perfect questions to find out about other
students' experiences.
Give each student a copy of the worksheet.
Tell the students that they are going to practice asking and
answering present perfect questions with Have you ever...? in
order to find out information about other students' experiences.
Elicit the Have you ever...? questions the students need to ask
from the worksheet.
Students then use the prompts on the worksheet to ask Have you
ever...? questions to their classmates.
When a classmate answers 'Yes, I have', the student writes that
person's name in the 'Name' column next to the item and asks
follow-up questions to obtain more information.
Tell the students that they can only have the same name once.
This is to encourage them to speak to as many different partners
as possible.
When everyone has finished, students give feedback to the class
on what they found out by making present perfect statements
with has.
If there are any interesting findings, encourage the students to
discuss them in more detail.
