AN INFORMATIVE ESSAY: COACHELLA MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL
What would you say if someone asked you to go somewhere you have ever wanted to see many artist from any
genre of music? Of course, anyone would say yes, because most people haven't been to an event like the huge
one which happens in California each year. This is an event many people put money aside all year to attend
just maybe once in their life. The Coachella Music and Arts Festival is one of the most talked about festivals
among young people. It is like a new world for everyone who attends.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual festival that is held at the Imperial Polo Club in
Indio, California. It is one of the largest, most famous and most successful festival in the USA and around
the world. Coachella was first introduced in 1999, however, the next year no festival took place, whereas, in
2001, Coachella was held in April to avoid problems with summer heat. In addition, the event has five
different music stages, a giant food hall and a huge camping area with its own showers, WiFi, toilets, stores,
phone charging stations and more. Furthermore, according to statistics, around 500,000 people attend the
festival every year.
To sum up, it makes our life colourful and enthusiastic. It brings people together. It strengthens the feeling of
oneness too people, without any devilry. Thus, festivals are very important and they must be celebrated with
pomp and show by all. Although, I haven´t had the chance of attending it, I highly recommend it if you are a
fan of rock, indie, hip-hop or electronic dance music, you´ll fully enjoy itWho knows, you may even spot a few
celebrities in the crowd.
