 Hello good mornig guys 4 topics of wich

are Zero conditional, First conditional,

Second conditional and Third Conditional

so them I’ll start

What is a

Conditionals?

The use of the conditional means that one action

depends on another.

Conditionals are used to talk about real or unreal

situations. In general, conditional sentences

carry the word "if".

Taking into account that there is no time for the

conditional in English as in Spanish. At the same

time, the auxiliary verb "would" is used to form

the conditional in English.

There are four types of conditional phrases and

the use of one or the other reflects the

probability of the action.

If Condition Result If Present Simple Present Simple

Form/ Structure

Positive example:

If babies are hungry, they cry.

Si los bebes tienen hambre, lloran

You get bumed if you touch fire

Te quemas si tocas el fuego

If I go to bed late, I wake up late.

Si me acuesto tarde, me levanto tarde

Zero

Conditional

Negative example:

If you do not exercise, you

again weight you exercise

Si no haces ejercicio,

subiras de peso.

If I don't study, I don't do

well on tests.

Si no estudio, no me ira

bien en el examen

Zero

Conditional

First

Conditional

The first conditional refers to situations that we

consider highly probable. Instead, the second

conditional is used to talk about things that we

don't really think are going to happen or that we

consider very unlikely. Some examples of both are:

 if it rains today, I'll stay at home.

Positive examples:
If it's sunny tomorrow, I'll have a picnic.
Explanatión:
It may be sunny tomorrow. In this
condition I will have a picnic.
Example:
If you come to the party, I will be very
happy.
Explanatión:
You may come to the party. In this
condition I will be very happy.

If Condition Result If Present Simple Future simple (“Will”)

Positive Negative Questión If he's in a hurry, he'll catch the bus. If you don't hurry, you will miss the bus. What will you do if the train is full tomorrow?

Negative Examples:

 If it rains, I'm not going to the beach.

 If I study today, I'll go to the party tomorrow.

 If I have enough money, I'll buy you concert

tickets.

 If the traffic is bad, he will be late.

 If she doesn't study, they pass the test.

 If I see her, I tell you her..

Second Conditional

Second conditional is used in situations/actions in

the present or future which are not likely to

happen or are imaginary, hypothetical or

impossible. If I won the lottery, I would travel

around the world and buy a castle.

Form:

  • Would (and verb in present) + if + past simple-

Examples:

  • If I were you, I wouldn't do that.
  • He would do well if he practised more.

If people were responsible with the covid-19, they

would use a mouthcover..

is used when we talk about a condition in the past

that has not happened
