Information about the Kakapo, a nocturnal, herbivorous, and flightless parrot native to New Zealand. With a size of up to 60 cm and 3-4 kg, the Kakapo is the largest parrot species in the world. They have polygamous reproduction and live up to 60 years. Kakapos are known for their unusual sound that can be heard from 5 kilometers away and their distinctive smell.
