INTRODUCTION Throughout history, technology has been an indispensable ally for humanity, facilitating both work and daily activities. One of the most revolutionary tools we know is computers. In their early days, they occupied entire rooms in buildings and only large corporations could afford them. Today, they have evolved into compact devices that fit in our pockets and are more powerful than those first machines. But how are they currently composed? What are their parts? And, above all, how do they work internally? These are the questions that will be answered in this work. Each component of computers will be explained to provide the necessary information about these devices, essential in various aspects of computing in general. First of all, it must be noted that they are composed of hardware and software, and each has its completely important functions for a computer: Hardware: It is the entire physical part that can be observed, touched, and seen at a glance. Software: It is the entire digital part that cannot be touched with hands but, thanks to it, computers can be easily managed.

INPUT/OUTPUT DEVICES POWER SUPPLY UNIT (PSU) TRANSFORMS AND DISTRIBUTES ELECTRICAL POWER TO COMPONENTS. INPUT DEVICES: THESE DEVICES ALLOW THE USER TO ENTER DATA AND INSTRUCTIONS INTO THE SYSTEM. OUTPUT DEVICES: THESE DEVICES ALLOW THE SYSTEM TO DISPLAY OR COMMUNICATE RESULTS TO THE USER. DEVICES AND ENERGY
APPLICATIONS APPLICATION SOFTWARE PERFORMS SPECIFIC TASKS FOR THE USER
THIS PAPER HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE COMPONENTS IN COMPUTERS. FROM THE CPU TO THE OPERATING SYSTEM, EACH PART IS CRUCIAL. IT ALSO HIGHLIGHTS THE INTERDEPENDENCE BETWEEN HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE, WHICH IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE OPTIMAL FUNCTIONING OF A COMPUTER. UNDERSTANDING THE FUNCTION OF EACH COMPONENT IS ESSENTIAL TO APPRECIATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IN OUR DAILY LIVES. CONCLUSION
