II. Types of Sentences and examples: o Simple sentence:  I need to pass advanced 10. o Complex sentence:  When the day is stressful, I like to listening to music. o Compound sentence:  I want to get better grades, yet I´m too lazy to study. o Compound-complex:  Because I love english, I´m learning the language. III. - What should we know about summarizing?

- - The concept of a summary paragraph o Summarizing is a reduction about a topic, telling a story in it shorter version, we usually just use only a paragraph to mention main parts about the story we are talking about without avoid any crucial point.

- Outlining

- - Summary paragraph o Kim peek was always a nature genius, he born with an interesting anomally called “savant syndrome”, he also suffered of macrocephaly, making his head grow a little bigger than average. When he was only a 6-month-old baby, a doctor told kim´s parents that he could neither walk nor talk; Thankfully Kim was finally able to walk at the age of 4. The most interesting thing about Kim Peek is that he always had a phenomenal memory since young; Therefore, when he learned to read, never stopped. Kim Peek has read around 12 000 books remembering 98% of the content of each one; Even more amazing, at the age of 7, he already knew every single word of the bible.

Homework: (PAGE 19) o People who suffer from ASD have flexible problems. o According to glandwell, at least 10, 000 hours are required to transform talent into expertise. o The lack of structure make Daniel tammet feel anxious. o For people with ASD, social interaction is difficult. o Scans of the brains of autistic savants suggest that it might be compensate by the right hemisphere for damaging the left. o Retain large amounts of information is not a problem for autistic savants. o Daniel tammet memorized pi to 22, decimal places to show people that his disability doesn´t stop him from being succesful.
