MY VACATIONS LAST YEAR
NAME: LAURA TRUJILLO VELEZ
Hello my name is Laura and I would like to tell you about my vacation last year
My vacation last year was amazing! I was three weeks old, so I decided to do
something special: go to the island of San Andrés.
I have some friends on the island, so I stayed with them and didn't have to book
any hotels. It was very cheap!
First, I drove to Bogotá, some very beautiful landscapes, I could see a beautiful
sunset. I didn't stay long in Bogota, but I went for a walk around the city and to visit
some restaurants, in this city they are incredible.
I spent two days in Bogota, and then I took a plane and went to San Andrés. The
city is not very big, but it is lively and welcoming, the people are very friendly and
funny.
I had a wonderful time. It is a very interesting city, it had a beautiful view, the
animals in this area were incredible, the fish and the birds; I loved being in San
Andrés. I specially enjoyed the street markets, where I bought delicious food and
wine.
I knew the islands that are nearby, it was impressive, the sea was seven colors, it
was something beautiful.
I was able to ride a boat, a bicycle and a motorcycle to walk around and get to
know the island. the people were very warm and special.
Hope I can do this some other time, it was a great idea for the holidays.
