Hello Lisa,
Greetings! It’s day three of my vacation. I’m in a small city of 75 thousand people. It’s very exciting.
Right now I’m in a busy and famous place: the main square. There are restaurants and shops here, and the streets are crowded.
The taxis here are tuk-tuks, people call them “bajajs”.
There are a lot of interesting things to see and do here. The archaeological place called ‘’Kotosh’’ is amazing. It’s famous for the
‘’Manos Cruzadas’’ temple. People usually travel to Tingo Maria on the weekends.
There is a famous cafe called ‘’Huapri’’. It’s a popular place. The ‘’salchipapa’’ there is very delicious. It´s my favorite food.
“Milagros Cafe” is a very nice place for coffee too, but not popular.
The weather here is also great. This city has the best weather in Peru! But, there are a lot of mosquitos. I don’t like them! Also, it
´s very windy in the afternoons.
