FOR AND AGAINST ESSAY
Should physical education lessons at school be compulsory?
Nowadays people are questioning if physical education lessons at school should be
compulsory or not, this has brought up a lot of different opinions.
On the one hand, physical education is a very important subject and everybody has
to do it. This is a smart decision because all the children should do some sport and
not everyone does it. Doing sport is key for their health.
On the other hand, for people who do not like sports or are bad at it, making physical
education compulsory can become a problem for them. That is because they might
not be good at it, and cause a stress increase
In conclusion, I believe that although making physical education compulsory can not
be good for all students, it is important to practise sport.
FORMAL E-MAIL
Dear Mr Smith,
As a citizen of the town, I have the right to walk on the pavement without worrying
about getting hit over by e-scooter or bikes. However, for me and other people, this
option is no longer possible due to the which says bikes or e-scooters must ride on
the pavement.
We all know that law is made to prevent any kind of traffic accident, although making
them go on the pavement leaves us with no proteccion. Bickers or e-scooters go at
15-30kilometres per hour as for humans, we go at around 5 kilometres per hour.
The city should provide another road for them so they can drive freely ensuring
everyone safty. I demand that action is taken regarding this problem.
Your sincerely,
Sara Khater.

TEA FROM MOROCCO

Tea appeared in China almost 5.000 years ago, it took centuries for it to become a popular drink around the world. One of the customs in Morocco is the tea, “Whisky arabic ''. Offer tea is a good gesture that Maroccans give even to stangers, as in the case with tourists. It is taken at all hours and it is a good way to not be dehydrated in a hot place. The tradition says that you have to serve it three times: the first glass is “bitter as life”; the second one “strong as love” and the last glass “sweet as death”.

E-MAIL TYPICAL MOROCCO

hi beth, How's it going? I am glad that you thought of me to learn more about my country. It is a very fun and beautiful country where I have thousands of parties and typical things that we do. I will explain some of the ones that I especially like. To begin with, I would say that Morocco is known for its festival in which we make a typical tradition "Day of the Lamb" is one of the two most important celebrations of the Islamic calendar, Ramadan is one of the basic pillars of the Islamic religion, which is celebrated by Muslims all over the world, not just a month of fasting for Muslims a period of maximum spirituality in which reflection, prayer and sacrifice involving the renunciation of food are the way to renew one's faith and get closer to Allah. Well, that is what I think is the most interesting thing about Morocco, I hope I have helped you to obtain the necessary information. Send me another email if you have any questions and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Sara.
