WRITING : A DIALOGUE/CONVERSATION
It is another type of writing you may be asked to write in PAU exam. It is
a conversation between 2 people who usually have different opinions
about a topic. It's important you express different and well-reasoned
views on the topic given.
Important:
- Make sure you give well-reasoned arguments
- Avoid short and meaningless sentences
- To introduce your ideas, remember to use the phases listed below
-Avoid Yes/No answers.Use some of the following phrases to replace
yes/no answers

You want to go on Black Friday and take advantage of all the bargains, but your friend thinks this day only promotes consumerism.Write the dialogue between you and your friend. Make sure you do NOT use your own name in your dialogue +Hello, how are you? -Really good! It’s been a long time since we last met! +Sure! For some days now they have been announcing the famous Black Friday on TV, on the streets and on social networks. Have you ever heard of this days? -Of course, it consist in great discounts and their are available for three days, right? +You’re right! Since tomorrow starts, would you like to come shopping and take advantage of all the bargains offered? -Thanks for the offer, but absolutely not, I must say that I don’t like Black Friday at all. +Oh, why? -Because in my opinion that’s an excuse to promote collective consumerism. +That’s a good point actually, people nowadays have celebrations to consume more than normal. -Yeah! I agree, people’s happiness depends on obtaining goods and material possessions. +Then, would you like to met and in any of this days going to play some sport?
