    2. (^) Did you imagine the characters the way they are portrayed in the film? Why? Yes, because of the way it was written and the contemporary things to the time the story was set, like haunting or the letters.
  • Saki’s story was written in an era when everybody wrote letters. Imagine that after Framton’s visit to Mrs. Sappleton the following short letters were written. Use these notes or your own ideas and write one of the letters.
    1. Framton to his sister

Where did you send me? /husband/brothers/ghastly experience/anniversary of tragedy/ open window/three ghosts/with my own eyes.

Harriet, where did you send me? Did you know what happened in that house? Mrs. Sappleton husband and the two brothers get lost when they were going to hunt three years ago.

Nobody found a clue of what happened to them, and I arrived to the house just in time of the tragedy´s anniversary, Vera said Mrs. Sappleton always open the window at this time of the year in case they come back, and when I finally met Mrs. Sappleton in person I had a ghastly terrifying experience, I saw three ghosts! I saw Mr. Sappleton, Ronnie and his brother entering the house with my own eyes!"
