(^) The urinary system is a group of organs in the body that deals with filtering excess fluid and other substances from the bloodstream. (^) The kidneys are the main organs of homeostasis because they maintain the acid-base balance and the saline balance of the blood.

z Features: (^) Its main characteristic is that, anatomically, it is a urine duct that ends with urination; a liquid called urine flows through its channels. (^) The urinary system is a set of organs between bags and tubes that has the function of freeing the body from dangerous toxins for the body or waste.
z After its production in the kidneys, it passes from the ureters to the bladder where it is stored and then is expelled through the urethra during urination.

(^) The development of the urinary system is undoubtedly one of the most prominent processes within the organism since this system fulfills different functions that help maintain a homeostasis in the organism.
