Review the blind side
I do not know about you, but to me about 90% of the movies you can see in cinemas
nowadays are dull. I know that a lot of people think that watching a film is not only
about the film. It is mostly about popcorn, soda and hanging out with friends.
However, I still cannot get rid of the idea that movie should be not just about visuals,
but also about deep emotions and thought provoking.
Anyways, today I am reviewing a movie named the bind side which was released in
2009. This film really touched my heard. The main characters of the film are Michael
Oher stared by Quinton Aaron and Leigh Anne Tuohy stared by Sandra Bullock. The
film starts with a Coach trying to convince members of a private school to admit him,
the coach wanted Michael to join the football team because he was strong, how ever
his PGA was low.
Soon, the family who was taking care of Michael because his father died, did not want
him anymore, so he had no where to go. And this is when they introduced Leigh family
to us. Leigh is a rich woman, who has two children. One night when Michael was
walking to the gym to sleep there, he was stopped by Leigh. From that moment Leigh
Anne took charge of Michael. They encouraged Michael to join in the football team, at
the beginning he was not really good at it, because he did not have killer instincts.
Leigh told him that the team was like his family, this helped him a lot and he became
the left tackle. A lot of Universities wanted to know him, they wanted Michael in their
team. However, his GPA was low, he needed to raise his grades, so Leigh hire him a
tutor.
At the end Michael made it, he passed the course, and he was accepted in the
University that he wanted and became a good football player.
To me the movie was really emotional and beautiful. And it deserves a large and
attentive audience. The Blind side does exactly what you would expect from a
biography. It is moving, inspiring and though provoking. But if what you are looking for
is not something deep and moving, stay away!
