The purpose of this report is to analyse the complaints made about the hotel, and a result of that, to suggest the improvements and reforms we should take to grow better the situation.
Some complaints that have been received in this area are on the absence in certain hours of personal at the reception staff. This entails waiting time by the customer, and this dislike them. Another complaint from foreign customers is that the receptionist lack of education about other languages. Suggested action I recommend resolving the first complaints hiring two receptionists at least, which would have complementary hours to rest without leaving the reception empty. Also, the problem of receptionists who do not know other languages, this could be solved by hiring people with more linguistic studies, or offering courses to improve the languages skills.
Rooms have been criticized because of its lacking cleaning. In the complaints the guest said that there was dust in the corners, and the bathroom smelled pipes generating discomfort in toilets. Suggested action I suggest improving the cleaning using a powerful vacuum cleaner, and inspect that the task has been made correctly. I also recommend solving the problem about the bathroom smells pipes, cleaning pipes around the hotel and also put an air freshener in each bathroom.
Many of the problems we have discussed throughout the report have an easy solution that the hotel can solve. If these improvements are carried out the hotel will have a better image, and the guest will give better comments.
