My friend Alex and I had always wanted to visit New York City. Finally,
after months of planning, we were able to make it happen. We arrived in
the city by plane and headed straight to our hotel in the heart of
Manhattan.
The next day, we visited the Statue of Liberty. It was exciting to see it in
person after seeing it in so many pictures. Then, we went to Central
Park, where we had lunch and relaxed for a while.
That night, we went to a Broadway show. The music and acting were
incredible. After the show, we walked through Times Square, which was
filled with lights and people.
Our trip to New York was amazing. We saw so many exciting things and
had a great time. We definitely want to go back someday.
