The purpose of this report is to give an account of the outcomes of the recent meeting about
the building of the food quarter. Around ten people attended the meeting, the report
summarize the main arguments and recommendations.
Councillor Jones, began the meeting by summarizing some of the reasons for proposing the
new building. He pointed out that it is benefits to the people, because it will bring new
costumers to the town. According to Mr E. Simth who is a local resident and parent of two
small children, he is opposed because the noise will keep his children awake.
However, when discussing the issue, the majority of local residents who atended felt it express
that this could bring many problems for the créate a lot of pollution, and probably more litter
as well, also the lights will be left on in the Street all night, wasting energy and stopping people
from sleeping.
In conclusión, it was evident that there is a lot of negative feeling about the building. I would
recommend that the people should thinking this topic, because it might also benefit to help
them.
