Writing: Proposal The Academy was one of the first academies in our community, therefore even though it is a dilapidated, abandoned structure, many of the former students still associate it with fond memories. This structure is significant historically and has sentimental significance. Furthermore, it is one of the few structures in the city with such astounding architecture. The structure is not too neglected, despite the fact that it is old and I am aware that renovating it would be expensive. My proposal is to work with technical and artistic academy students who would learn practical skills by renovating the outdated structure. I propose converting the Academy into an art exposition where year-round cultural activities of all types might be held. The city council would profit financially from the demolition. However, since it would draw more tourists to our area, converting it into an Art Hall would benefit both the locals and the city. A further advantage would be the improvement of community spirit and the creation of new entertainment options. I firmly feel that renovating the old Academy building would be advantageous for the entire community and kindly request that you take this into consideration. Writing: Essay There is always a big debate on what should the government spent the local money. One of these debates is focused on facilities where some people suggest that that money should be spent on museums, whilst others consider that it is better to spend it on sports centres. On the one hand, museums give education, a service that cannot be self-provided. Visitors to museums have the opportunity to view a number of unique historical or scientific artefacts. Some people believe that the same service could be offered while seated in front of a computer screen, but first-hand experience is incomparable and leaves a greater impression on the visitor's mind, facilitating the acquisition of a singular educational experience that may be beneficial for a potential future career. On the other hand, some people might believe that sporting facilities can enhance personal health. The regular practice of physical activity helps people live healthier and longer lives. People don't necessarily require a free gym membership because they can go hiking, run in a park, walk about the city, or dedicate themselves to any other activity that may enhance their health conditions, which is a solid counterargument to this claim. If providing a service entirely for free is not possible, increasing the number of visitors through group discounts, free visits on designated days, and special offers for families and students would be prudent and advantageous.
