ZERO CONDITIONAL
Cuando utilizamos el zero conditional hablamos de verdades, hechos con una certeza
total. Verdades generales.
El zero conditional se usa para hablar de situaciones que conllevan verdades universales
o hechos generales. Usaremos el Present simple en la frase condicional como en la
desencadenante. También puedes sustituir “If” por “When”:
When we use the zero conditional we speak of truths, made with total certainty.
General truths.
The zero conditional is used to talk about situations that carry universal truths or
general facts. We will use the Present simple in the conditional phrase as in the trigger.
You can also substitute “If”for “When”:

EXAMPLES
If you mix red and white, you get pink. Si mezclas rojo con blanco tienes rosa.
Plants die if they don’t get enough water. Las plantas mueren si no tienen agua.
If she sleeps well, she rests. Si ella duerme bien, descansa.
FIRST CONDITIONAL
Utilizamos el first conditional para expresar cierto grado de duda, y con intencionalidad
futura.
El first conditional se usa para hablar de situaciones particulares y que puedan suceder
de forma segura. También lo usamos cuando hablamos de planes de futuro, amenazas,
advertencia y promesas o para convencer a alguien de algo.
Para ello, utilizaremos Present Simple y Future Simple. Su estructura también se divide
en dos frases, con la condición que se produzca la primera podrá suceder o seguir a la
siguiente:
We use the first conditional to express a certain degree of doubt, and with future
intentionality.
The first conditional is used to talk about particular situations and what can happen
safely. We also use it when we talk about future plans, threats, warnings and promises
or to convince someone of something.
To do this, we will use Present Simple and Future Simple. Its structure is also divided
into two sentences, with the condition that the first one happens, it may succeed or
follow the next:
